What are the benefits of Molecular Hydrogen?
(The following facts are compiled from medical research that has taken place since 2005, with the foundational study being completed in 2007 and published in peer-reviewed medical journal Nature Medicine.)
Hydrogen is a Selective Anti-oxidant: It only neutralizes the most cyto-toxic (cell destroying) free radicals such as the hydroxyl radical (OH), turning it into cellular water. Molecular Hydrogen has no effect on other, required, free radicals, such as Nitric Oxide and Hydrogen Peroxide which are very important to the body and immune system.
Hydrogen is able to freely enter the cells and mitochondria, even reaching the cell nucleus.
Hydrogen neutralizes hydroxyl radicals and scavenges peroxynitrite, converting them to water. These free radicals are known for causing arthritis pain and inflammation.
No toxic byproduct vs. other anti-oxidants. Water is created as the reaction by-product, with nothing else for the body to eliminate.
